Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum sp.) are the main commodity in the horticultural industry that has a very bright market prospect. In the chrysanthemum cultivation, seed quality greatly affects on growth and flowering results of the plant. In this study used four sources of auxin hormone which is used as plant growth regulator (PGR) for root growth in the chrysanthemum nureries. The purpose of this study was to obtain an appropriate source of PGR on the growth of chrysanthemum shoots. The reaserch was design by a single experimental method in Completely Randomized Design (RAL). The treated treatments were the auxin hormone: without PGR, IBA 100 ppm, 100% coconut water, 10% cattle urine and commercial product PGR. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. The result of the research showed that the 100 ppm IBA treatment was able to grow the chrysanthemum cuttings to be the best criteria seeds were ready for planting, but all treatments can produce the standards quality seed.
