The study aims to know the factors that influence to the production of red chilli and know the price efficiency of red chilli farming on coastal land. The determined of study location did by purposive that was Pleret, Panjatan, Kulon Progo. The respondent in this study was determine in census that was the member of Pasir Sari farmer group that planted the red chilli that were 56 farmers. The data that used is primary data that obtained directly by observation and interview, and also secondary data that obtained from related institutions with the study location. Production factors analyzed using production function of Cobb-Douglas and eficiency analysis used the function of eficiency theory. The research result indicated that in together the production factor of seed, manure fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, N fertilizer, KNO fertilizer, concentrated insecticide, liquid insecticide, fungicide, pesticide adhesive, and the labor are significant to the production of red pepper in reliance level of 99%. Whereas in partial of the production factor of seed is significant in reliance level of 99% and production of pesticide adhesive is significant and has negative relation in relience level of 95% toward the production of red chilli on coastal land. The analysis of price efficiency in seed production factor was indicate not efficient and the use need to be add.
