      Abstract
The roots of Java ginseng is a traditional medicine that contain of saponin are useful regeneration of β Pancreas cell which can lower blood glucose levels. This study aims to prove that the roots of Java ginseng infusion has an effects in lowering blood glucose levels in mice induced aloksan. Subjects were Rattus Norvegicus strain male Wistar rats aged 2 months, weight 150-250 grams, 21 tails. The sample were devided 4 groups, namely negative control (healthy) groups consist of 3 tails, positive control groups consist of 4 tails, treatment 1 groups consist of 7 tails, and treatment 2 groups consist of 7 tails. The treatment given for 14 days. Examination of blood glucose levels performed 3 times, before induction aloksan, after induction aloksan and after treatment of the root of Java ginseng infusion. The research data were analyzed by One Way ANOVA and Post Hoc Test. The result showed blood glucose levels aloksan each group before induction, after induction aloksan and after treatment with One Way ANOVA test showed an increase and decrease blood glucose levels which was statistically significant (p<0,05). Post Hoc test showed a decrease in blood glucose levels significants in treatment 1 groups (p<0,05). Decrease in bloodglucose levels in treatment 1 groups indicates that the roots of Java ginseng infusion has a regeneration β pancreas cell. The results of this study that administration of the roots of Java ginseng infusion for 14 days can lower blood glucose levels that has been induced aloksan.
