The IOP can effected by various systemic factors like hypertension, atherosclerotic disease, body mass index, and diabetes mellitus. The study aimed to determine the relation between intraocular pressure in controlled and uncontrolled diabetic patients in Asri Medical Center (AMC) Yogyakarta clinic. Metodhs : This study design was an analytical correlation non-experimental with cross sectional approach. It was held in AMC Yogyakarta clinic from August – December. Data analysis was performed using Chi-Square's test. Results : This study obtained 20 patients with Diabetes Mellitus. There were 11 (55%) uncontrolled DM patients with normal IOP, 7 (35%) controlled DM patients with normal IOP, 1 (5%) uncontrolled DM patients with high IOP and 1 (5%) controlled DM with high IOP. Statistical analysis showed that the value of p=1,00 (>0,05) which indicated that this study was not meaningful and it had no a positive correlation between IOP and Diabetes Mellitus. Conclusions : There was no relation between intraocular pressure with diabetes mellitus neither in controlled diabetic patients nor uncontrolled diabetic patients in AMC Yogyakarta clinic.
