This research aims to (1) find out parents as role models in the improvement of students’ shalat implementation in Extraordinary School Bangun Putra Bangunjiwo Kasihan, (2) find out the shalat implementation of the students of Bangun Putra Bangunjiwo Special Needs School, Kasihan. This is a descriptive research with qualitative approach or method. The data collection techniques of the research were: 1) observation; 2) interviews; 3) documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion formulation or verification. The research findings show that (1) Parents as role models in improving the students’ shalat implementation habituation has great role since the first model for children is their parents or family at home. (2) The students’ implementation of shalat both in school and at home is very good. It is seen from the observations and interviews from trusted respondents.
