This research can see how the audience’s reception of free lifestyle in Awakrin’s video blog in YouTube channel from YouTuber Community of Jogja and Blogger Community of Jogja. The aim this research is how the audience’s reception of free lifestyle in Awakrin’s video blog in YouTube channel This research using study of audience or reception analysis method from Stuart Hall encoding-decoding, those are dominant hegemonic, negotiated position, oppositional position. The data collective in this research is focus grup discussion and depth interview. The result of this research can be concluded that informants more in oppositional position. Which is, that the majority of these two communities agreed to a free lifestyle in Awkarin’s video blog is contradictory or no common in Indonesian’s culture. And refused what aired in Awkarin’s video blog.
