This study aims to analyze “Tawakal And Zuhud In Economic Practice Of The Caliphate Umar Bin Khattāb”, which aims to know how caliph Umar Radhiyallahu Anhu practices tawakkal and zuhud in economic activities that have proven his success, then to take knowledge and able to practices in today's economy. This research is also supposed to contribute or referral in Islamic economic education and enrich the insight of Islamic economics in facing global challenges in the era of globalization. The type of research is used library research and researcher use the documentary method. While the analysis is used qualitative analysis.Afterward, it is obtained the output that Umar RadhiyallahuAnhu implement tawakal and zuhud in economic activity by conducting prodigiously economic activities with the spirit, discipline and professional, then Umar always prays for help to God in the matter of treasure.Umar RadhiyallahuAnhu invested his best treasure, simple in consumption, did not consume except from lawful, honest and fair property in distributing state property to his people.This has a crucial role in the growth and stability of the economy during his leadership and is vital to be practiced at this time. Because, tawakal and zuhud can encourage the growth of a high work ethic, security pillars in human behavior, high social solidarity and simple lifestyle.
