This study aimed to describe the behavior of farmers and analyze the factors related to the behavior of farmers in the use of pesticides in Pesantunan village. For the determination of the location of the study, the researcher considered that Pesantunan village is the chosen place because it has the highest productivity especially in Wanasari district. Then, the data were collected by interview to all members of the Sri Mulya Farmer Group which numbered 40 people. Rank Spearman correlation is used to analyze the correlation of factors with farmer behavior in the use of pesticide. The results showed that the behavior of farmers in the use of pesticides in the Village Pesantunan included in the category of less good, especially on the frequency of spraying excessive as much as 20 to 30 times exceeded the recommendation (12 times in a season). The behavior of farmers in the use of pesticides has a moderate (moderately strong) relationship with perceptions of pests and diseases so it needs to be improved perceptions of farmers against pests and diseases by doing modeling and training models related to the correct use of pesticides.
