RANCANG BANGUN CENTRIFUGE BALANCE BERBASIS ATMEGA 8
Abstract
Centrifuge balance is a tool for weighing samples before being precisely rotated using a centrifuge. This study aims to design and create microcontroller based ATMega8 centrifuge balance with LCD display. This tool uses 2 pieces of 1 kg load cell, using hx711 as ADC, and requires additional circuits that the author calls a flip-flop circuit that serves as a regulator of data entry from 2 sensors to ATMega8, then ATMega8 itself as a processor which then the data will be displayed in LCD. Data retrieval for this tool uses a weight of 50 grams, 100 grams, 200 grams, and 500 grams. From the results of the research results obtained that there is no error on the data retrieval at 50 grams and 100 grams, but there is a 0.13% error in the data retrieval of 200 grams for sensor 1 and sensor 2, then 0.21% on the 500 gram data retrieval for sensor 1 and sensor 2. After the general research it can be concluded that the design of an microcontroller ATMega8 based centrifuge balance can be used well and still in the value of tolerance threshold.
