ETIKA PROFETIK UNTUK PENGUATAN FALSAFAH PENDIDIKAN ISLAM
Abstract
For a longtime, lslamic education faces dilemma to both the life interest and hereafter day
one. As a logical consequence, it simultanously leads a contradictory situation between religious
knciwledge and 'secular' knowledge. Moreover the character influencesthe phylosophical
mainstream that is in dilemmaas well. To deeplyanalyse it, thewriting is runningto explore
prophetical framework and use it in educational field as a PhilosoPhical viewPoint. As so far, it
transforms the ideas ofthe Prophetic SocialScience according to and developed by
Kuntowijoyo.
The results of the research are : firstly, ontologically speaking, ProPhetic education refers to a
grand design of humanism-teosentrism;secondly, epistemologically, the issue has an ePistemological
identiry named ,,relational model" fundamentally based on revelation, mind, emPirical fact,
history and socio or natural phenomena critically and rationally used; and thirdly, axiologically
the issue teaches us as follows : l) humanism containing teaching and learning by which dialog
and concientization procedureto be used; 2) liberation giving adirection and guide on political,
cultural, social and economic sets through problem-posing and problem solving approach; and
3) transcendence/spiritualism directingthe spiritual substance of educationwith severaltechniques
such as open-exemPlary center and aesthetic education
