CONTRIBUTION OF BANANA CROPS TO HOUSEHOLD REVENUES IN SIDOMULYO VILLAGE BAMBANGLIPURO BANTUL (Thesis is guided by Ir. Siti Yusi Rusimah, M.S. and Dr.Ir. Triwara Buddhi S, MP). Agricultural commodities have an important role in the national economy, especially bananas. Farmers do not have a clear calculation of production costs and income so as not to know the amount of revenue contribution generated. This study aims to determine the cost, income and profits of banana growers, and to know the contribution of banana cultivation income to the total income of farm households. This research uses a descriptive method. The samples taken using multi stage random sampling technique were 40 farmers. Based on the results of the analysis conducted the total cost to be spent by banana growers is Rp. 3,700,000, with receipts of Rp. 9,900,000, and the revenue earned by Rp. 9.600.000. The profit gained is Rp. 6,200,000. The income contribution to the total income of household of banana farmers in Sidomulyo Village is 48%, belong to high category.
