ANALISIS KETAHANAN KOMPONEN-KOMPONEN LISTRIK PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA ANGIN DI PLTH BAYU BARU BANTUL YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Wind energy is an alternative energy sources renewable that can be used to replace the source of energy not renewable, such as fossil fuels that are still very widely used to date, especially in Indonesia. In an effort to reduce the use of fossil-fueled energy sources, the government develops renewable alternative energy by building Wind Power Generation (PLTB) in PLTH Bayu Baru. This study aims to determine the current condition of the Wind Power Generation in PLTH Bayu Baru, in terms of systems, current conditions electrical components and electrical terms based on manual calculations. The results of this study indicate the state of the PLTH system which initially synergizes wind energy and solar energy, now working separately due to component malfunction. Currently only 1 kW / 240 V wind turbine of 14 units is located in the working western group which is functioned to serve 40 PJU lamps, the wind turbine is capable of producing energy of 8.434 kWh up to 12.4 kWh per day so that it can meet the needs of the load of 8.28 kW.
