ANALISIS DISTRIBUSI DAYA LISTRIK PADA GEDUNG ADMISI UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
In today's modern era, electricity is one of the most needed components of humanity to survive, because the use of electrical energy has touched all aspects of human life as in the household sector, government agencies and education, industry, and so forth. The optimal utilization of this form of energy by the community can be helped by an effective distribution system. In order to improve the quality of service to the new students (penmaru), Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta renews the facilities and infrastructure by building a new admissions bureau building. The admission bureau building was built on three floors, supplied with electrical energy from PLN and generators distributed throughout the building floor through electric conductor and panels. Electrical and electronic system planning must be accurately calculated and designed in such a way that system reliability is required to meet the electrical installation standards. Therefore the purpose of this final task is to analyze the distribution of electric power in the building admisi Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. The method used is quantitative research that collects, analyzes and displays data in numerical form. From this research got the result that total pseudo power at planning development of building of admis UMY equal to 111,6 KVA and total active power equal to 83,6 KW. Total pseudo power and normal maximum active power that is equal to 78,6 KVA and 58,6 KW. The average load connected to the UMY admissions building is 17,640 KW. The biggest load is on the 1st floor AC power panel with a total maximum load of 30.366 KW or 57.6% of the total total connected load.
