One among available solutions is by utilizing renewable energy as a source of power generation. Using LEAP application to process data from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), PLN, Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional and Dinas Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral, it results in a forecasted total electricity demand of 28.152,05GWh in 2025 and the forecasted total capacity of new renewable energy will reach 2.756,63MW by that year.
