ANALISIS POTENSI ENERGI TERBARUKAN TERKAIT PERMINTAAN DAN PENYEDIAAN ENERGI LISTRIK DI JAWA TENGAH DENGAN APLIKASI LEAP
Abstract
Central Java is the third most populated province in Indonesia. With the population of more than 33,7 million people the Province has a quite large demand for electricity. Central Java contributed 16,19% from a total of 61.167.980 PLN's customers throughout Indonesia, with electrification ratio reaching to 91,25%. According to PT. PLN (Persero), electrical energy capacity sold in the Province by 2015 reached 20.408,19GWh or 10,6% of total capacity produced. Central Java's economic growth in 2015 has grown to 5,4% from 5,3% in 2014.
This condition should be anticipated as early as possible so that electrical energy can be available in sufficient quantities. One among available solutions is by utilizing renewable energy as a source of power generation. Using LEAP application to process data from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), PLN, Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional and Dinas Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral, it results in a forecasted total electricity demand of 28.152,05GWh in 2025 and the forecasted total capacity of new renewable energy will reach 2.756,63MW by that year.
