IDENTIFIKASI DRUG RELATED PROBLEMS (DRPs) PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI INSTALASI RAWAT INAP DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH PANEMBAHAN SENOPATI BANTUL
Abstract
Hypertension results in morbidity that requires serious treatment, and high
mortality. The number of comorbidities and complex therapeutic management
leads to high drug related problems (DRPs) in patients. The aims of this study is
evaluate the incidence of DRPs in the treatment of hypertensive patients in the
Inpatient Installation at Panembahan Senopati Hospital Bantul January until June
2017 period.
This research designed as descriptive non experimental. Retrospective data
collection was carried by using medical records of hypertensive patients during the
period of January until June 2017. The number of samples used was 58. The data
obtained were evaluated using literature studies namely JNC VIII and Drug
Information Fact 7th edition 2010.
The results of the study identification of DRPs in hypertensive patients at
the Inpatient Installation of Panembahan Senopati Hospital in Bantul showed that
there were 7 occurrences of DRPs which consisted of drug interactions as many as
7 events (12%) with a minor level of 2 cases (3%), a moderate level of 4 cases
(7%), and a major level of 1 cases (2%). Patients achieved therapeutic goals as
many as 52 patients (90%) and patients who did not reach the goal of therapy as
many as 6 patients (10%).
