REDESIGN QUEST HOTEL SAGAN YOGYAKARTA DENGAN VARIASI PENAMBAHAN SHEARWALL MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI ETABS
Abstract
The use of shearwall in the structure is one way to improve the stiffness of the structure especially for complex and high structure. Therefore, in this study is conducted the redesign of the Quest Hotel to know the effect of shearwall of the building by using ETABS application. The study used the data from the Quest Hotel planning then modeled the structure by using ETABS application and then analysis is conducted. From this study obtained the fundamental period of 1.2314 for the original structure and 0.9861 for the addition of shearwall and the improved of story drift after the use of shearwall while for the reinforcement of structural elements only affect the column.
