This study aims to find the effect and determine the source of germicide solution and sucrose solution for vase life of roses cut flowers (Rosa hybrida). This research implemented in the Post Harvest Laboratory of University Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in February 2018 to March 2018. The experiment was conducted using single factor experiment method compiled in Completely Randomized Design with 3 replications. The tested treatments were water (control), betle leaf + sugar, betle leaf + saccharin, betle leaf + coconut water, AgNO3 + sugar, AgNO3 + saccharin, AgNO3 + coconut water, citric acid + sugar, citric acid + saccharin and citric acid + coconut water. The results showed that rose cut flowers soaking with betle leaf+coconut water were able to provide vase life days longer than soaking in water (control).
