KARAKTERISTIK PAPARAN CAHAYA LAMPU LED 6 SISI DAN PAPARAN SUARA KNALPOT RACING JAPSTYLE SEPEDA MOTOR GL 100 TAHUN 1991
Abstract
Main lamp and muffler are one of the component parts of which
should be there on motor vehicles. A lamp is used to produce the light exposure
in the dark condition, then muffler serves as the gas disposal and also as silencer
a sound from machine. vehicle users who use the main lamp below the minimum
threshold of government regulations cause an accident due to the production the
light exposure is less bright, while vehicle users who using a muffler that has the
decibel number or dB that exceed the threshold caused environmental pollution
and disturbing on hearing. So the aim of the research is to learn the level of the
light exposure produced from the main of LED lamp 6 side and the standard of
main lamp, and also to find out the sound emission level of Japstyle Racing
muffler and standard muffler.
The research of the light exposure used a lux meters, while the sound
emission used a Sound Level Meter. The light exposure has some variations in this
research, the future variations using a measuring distance of 3 meters, 4 meters, 5
meters, 10 meters, 15 meters, and then a multiple of 5 meters to reach the final
limit of 100 meters. Whereas the sound emission is using transmission 3 with a
speed of 50km/hour. The research of the light exposure conducted at the night and
the research site located on Lingkar Selatan road, Bantul. Meanwhile, the sound
emission conducted during the day, and research sites located around the Sultan
Agung Stadium.
The results of the research has been carried out, the study of light
exposure here is the using the main LED lamp which the produced by the light is
brighter than the standard lamp. Mainwhile, the result of sound emission of
Racing Japstyle muffler here is lower due to the addition of glasswool variations
which caused the dB value decreases and if we use the main LED lamp, it is
highly recommended to use -5º reflector angle , because the reflector angle is
between 0º, -5º and +5º. The reflector angles of -5º has a lower light exposure
value.
