Islam’s stereotype and violence made by America after WTC bombing tragedy. The effect from making a bad image about Islam had a huge negative influence. Islam considered as an irrational religion. This research is trying to analize representation of Islamic Identity in Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika movie directed by Rizal Mantovani. This research used Roland Barthes semiotic method. This method pushes to denotation and connotation meaning. Roland Barthes semiotic used by researcher to study sign inside the Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika movie. In this research, researcher have a conclution that is in Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika movie, Islam pictured with symbols of certain atributes, and as a religion that love harmony between another people, not a religion that is identical with violence and terorism.
