SIMULASI PNEUMATIC TUBE SEBAGAI ALAT PENGIRIM SAMPEL BERBASIS MICROCONTROLLER Atmega8
Abstract
Pneumatic tube is one of the medical support equipment used to send samples from one room to another room by utilizing air pressure. This study aims to make Pneumatic Tube simulation tool as sample sending tool that can be used as a replacement tool and is expected to help the user to be able to speed up time and reduce the tasks of the users. The tool functions to send blood samples and maybe if developed can be used to send other samples. In making Pneumatic Tube simulation tool as sample sending tool, it utilizes a vacuum motor as the power or drive to send the carrier, 2-inch pipe as an installation line which has photodiode sensors as carrier detection, buzzer as a marker when the carrier has arrived, LCD display as a display and microcontroller as the overall system controller that drives the motor, turns on the buzzer, and displays the sensors. In this research, it is concluded that the heavier the load that is sent, the longer the processing time. The average blood sample delivery of 5ml blood was 1.833 seconds, the average blood sample delivery of 10ml blood was 2.027 seconds, and the average urine sample delivery of 20m1 urine was 2.1875 seconds, the average urine sample delivery of 30m1 urine was 2.212 seconds, the average urine sample delivery of 40m1 urine was 2.398 seconds, and the average urine sample delivery of 50ml urine was 2.504 seconds.
