MERANCANG ALAT RESISTANCE SPOT WELDINGKAPASITAS DAYA 1000 WATT
Abstract
Welding is a very important part in the development and growth of the industry
because it has a role in engineering, repair and construction. Spot welding
resistance is the process of connecting two or more materials using electrodes in
the form of copper as a heat energy diverter to melt the material. Spot welding
resistance is a type of welding that uses the principle of electrical resistance with
the help of pressure to conduct welding on the workpiece. The average circulating
on the market uses high power and requires high electrical power with the prices
circulating also quite expensive. In this design carrying a spot spot resistance
device using 1000 Watts of power that can be used in household electricity and
can be used for small industries. This spot welding resistance uses an electrical
resistance method to connect objects. In this design it uses four thickness
variations ranging from 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm to find out how much time, power
and voltage are needed from four different specimens. At 0.5 mm plate connection
requires 229 V voltage and 3.08 A electric current in a period of 9 seconds. for
plates with a thickness of 1 mm the connection of the plate requires a voltage of
231 V and an electric current of 3.18 A in a period of 15 seconds. for plates with a
thickness of 1.5 mm connecting the plate requires a voltage of 231 V and an
electric current of 5.40 A in a period of 35 seconds.
