ANALISIS STRATEGI PENGURANGAN KETIDAKPASTIAN PSIKOLOGIS OLEH CALON KARYAWAN BANK SYARIAH DALAM PROSES REKRUTMEN
Abstract
The aim of this research to reveal the strategy of reducing psychological uncertainty of the prospective candidate during the recruitment process. The object of the research was Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) Syariah. This research used the descriptive qualitative research approach. In this research, the data were obtained through semi structured interview to the candidate of BPD DIY Syariah employee. The respondents of the study were selected using nonprobability sampling technique with snowball sampling. The data validity in this research was examined using technical triangulation, which is checking the data to the same respondent using different technique. The result of this research shows some strategies to reduce psychological uncertainty during recruitment process by coping strategy which is problem focus coping and emotional focus coping. Problem focus coping which was used by the candidate are communication, refreshing and apply for another company. Meanwhile, emotional focus coping was done through having endeavor, patient and think positive.
