This study aims to analyze the response of Muslim community in District Banguntapan on the presence of Sharia Cooperation 212 Bantul. The type of research is field research. The research method uses qualitative-descriptive. The research information conducted by purposive sampling technique. While the technique of data collection consists of observation, interview, and documentation. The results show various responses appearance in the Muslim community in Banguntapan District as well as cognitive, affective, and conative responses with positive to negative. However, the number of responses occurring in Muslim societies describing a positive response. This is related to the variety of factors that stimulate it, although from the side of individual structures, temporary circumstances, as well as event directly occurring in the Muslim communities around Banguntapan District.
