PENGARUH FAKTOR DOSEN, FAKTOR PASIEN, DAN FAKTOR MAHASISWA TERHADAP PELAKSANAAN PEMENUHAN REQUIREMENT MAHASISWA PROFESI PSPDG UMY
Abstract
Background: Clinical dental student in meeting the requirement during professional education tend to experience difficulties. This difficulty is related to the role of important factors of clinical education, namely lecturer factors, patient factors, and student factors.
Research Objectives: To determine the influence of lecturer factor, patient factor, and student factor toward requirement’s implementation of clinical students of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta.
Research Method: This research use descriptive-analytic observational method with cross sectional design. Research subjects amounted to 100 clinical student that taken with purposive sampling technique. Research data consist of primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from answer questionnaire and secondary data obtained from the report of management information system about clinical student requirement’s implementation. The research instrument used a questionnaire consisting of two parts, the first part using Guttman scale and second part using Likert scale consisting of 27 item statement. The research hypothesis is proved by multiple linear regression analysis.
Result of Research: Lecturer factor has significance value equal to 0,003, patient factor has significance value equal to 0,013, and student factor has significance value equal to 0,001. Simultaneously, lecturer factor, patient factor, and student factor significantly influence requirement’s implementation of clinical students of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta with F arithmetic of 24.836 and a significance number of 0.000. The contribution of influence was 41.9% and the remaining 58.1% was determined by other variables that not present in the study.
Conclusion: Lecturer factor, patient factor, and student factor contribute to the requirement's implementation of clinical students of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta.
