Background: the islamic nursing is any kind of nursing intervention that is based on Islamic principles which includes spiritual (dhikr, perform prayer, read Quran), physical, ethics, norm, and human's intelligence. A nurse's knowledge is something basic yet a very important thing as a guide to do nursery works. Research Objectives: this research is aimed to find out how much a nurse know about Islamic nursing in PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital. Methodology: : This research was designed with descriptive quantitative method and cross-sectional approach. Subject of this research was 64 respondents with total sampling as its technic sampling. The research instrumental was questionnaire. Its validity test result using person product moment led to a result of 15 valid questions with r table >0361 at the number 0.591-1.000. As for the reliability test using cronbach's alpha resulted 0,699. Frequency distribution was used to analyse the data. Results: Most of the respondents were women (52 respondents or 81,2%) with educational level of S1 or bachelor degree (34 respondents or 53,1%) and periode of working experience more than 2 years (54 respondents or 84,4%). The conception of the nurse knowledge about Islamic nursing belonged to good category with 36 respondents (56,3%). Conclusion: Majority of nurses knowledge about Islamic nursing care in every ward was considered as a good category.
