This research explains about the disability-friendly policy owned by Australia regarding the fulfillment of the rights of persons with disabilities. The problems regarding the disability services have become a major concern of the Australian Government. To overcome these problems, the Australian Government issued a national scale policy on disability, namely the National Disability Strategy. NDS policy has been compiled with the concept of universal design and in accordance with the values contained in the UN Convention on the Right of Person with Disabilities (UNCRPD) and covers all sectors of life in a more comprehensive manner. In its implementation, governments work together with all parties including NGOs and people with disabilities. Then, all parties are involved in the process of formulating and realization of policies, so that there is a significant increase in the participation of persons with disabilities in Australia.
