Rohingya ethnicity in Myanmar has suffered due to discrimination from Myanmar government since the enactment of Myanmar's citizenship law in 1982. Besides discrimination from the local government, Rohingya also suffered from a series of conflicts with Arakanese Buddhist and Myanmar Army (Tatmadaw). This paper will explains ASEAN’s efforts in resolving Rohingya conflicts from 2012 until 2016. ASEAN’s efforts in stopping human rights violations against ethnic Rohingya by using the principles in the ASEAN Way. The Study uses The concept of the role of international organizations by Karen Mingst and The concept of ASEAN Way.
