      Abstract
ABSTRACT Biomass energy has existed for a long time before people talk about alternative energy and renewable energy. However, for a long time humans have not utilized biomass as a source of energy for their daily needs. One of the potential biomass in Indonesia produced from plantation and agricultural waste. The purpose of this final project is to determine the results of combustion, temperature comparison, the best combustion of some biomass briquettes for biomass stove equipment. The research process was carried out by analyzing the ratio of biomass briquette combustion with each weight of 1 kg briquette and then knowing the combustion results and the temperature produced from biomass briquette combustion. The method used is comparing the combustion of rice husk briquettes, corn husk briquettes and wood powder briquettes with a diameter of 5 cm briquettes and 3 cm high using a 40-hole reactor. From the results of the comparison analysis, the burning of rice husk briquettes with 1kg of briquette produced an initial flame temperature of 260oC and the final temperature of the fire was 101oC, the burning of corncob briquettes with 1kg of briquettes produced an initial flame temperature of 272oC and the final temperature of fire was 248oC, while in the burning of wood powder briquettes with 1kg of briquettes producing an initial flame temperature of 271oC and a final flame temperature of 295oC. The best combustion is the burning of corncob briquettes which can boil water with a boiling point of 100oC in 4 minutes, and evenly burning. Poor combustion in the burning of rice husk briquettes, is not able to boil water at a point of 100°C, because the combustion is not evenly distributed and the flame is dead at 10 minutes.
