PERANCANGAN SISTEM PLTS FOTOVOLTAIK TERPUSAT UNTUK MEMENUHI KEBUTUHAN TENAGA LISTRIK DI DESA TERPENCIL
Abstract
This Bachelor’s thesis was made as part of the application of Electrical Power Generation Technology courses and Design of Industrial Electrical System in Electrical engineering program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. This is a solar power generation system by following the principles of renewable energy science, especially photovoltaic energy and electrical technology. A general scheme in the context of a centralized solar photovoltaic power plant system based on data and location requirements. Location data in the form of needs or limits on energy use and irradiation provided from secondary data. Based on data and calculations will be carried out capacity measurement, component selection, system design presented in the form of preliminary engineering design and economic analysis. The results of the calculation and analysis of a centralized solar photovoltaic power plant design in this study were made for electricity needs for 273 houses and 10 public facilities. From the calculation results with a total electricity demand of 185575 Wh/day can be issued with a capacity of 57,6 kWp. The design of this system wasmade using a DC coupling off-grid configuration systemusing 288 solar panels with a capacity of 200 Wp and 216 pieces of 1200 Ah battery capacity. The cost for investment is Rp 5.225.272.250, the maintenance cost for operations is Rp 85.936.700 a year and the cost of 2 times the battery change in the 9th and 18th years is Rp 2.148.417.500.
