PERUBAHAN PENGGUNAAN LAHAN TERHADAP KERENTANAN BANJIR DI WILAYAH YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Yogyakarta region is geographically not an area susceptible to flood disaster, but it is undeniable that all regions in Indonesia have flood vulnerability with cause and effect of each region. Land use and land conversion become a common activity where the community or the government needs a land to be functioned in support of activities and life today and in the future. The purpose of this study is as a means of knowledge of land use change and its impact on the vulnerability of flood disaster, which dilakuakan by utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) technology using ArcMap software assistance. Land use and its changes in 2012 and 2016 in the Yogyakarta region are dominant in paddy fields and settlements, where rice fields experience the greatest shrinkage and the extent of settlements is increasing every year, in a sample of research areas in the Winongo, Code and Gajah Wong watersheds with possible watersheds it has a high flood vulnerability.
