      Abstract
Concrete is one of the most commonly used building construction materials. The constituent material consists of cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, and water. To know and study the behavior of concrete materials, researchers need knowledge of the characteristics of each component. The fine aggregate quality used as a concrete structural component plays an important role in determining the quality characteristics of the resulting concrete structures, since fine aggregates fill most of the volume of concrete. This study aims to analyze the compressive strength of concrete derived from Gamalama, Ternate and Merapi, Yogyakarta. At the age of 7, 14, and 28 days with the number of test objects 18 pieces, ie 9 samples derived from the aggregate of Mount Gamalama, Ternate City and 9 samples from Mount Merapi, Yogyakarta. The design of this concrete mix using SK SNI 03-2834-2002 and specimen made on cylinder with diameter 15 cm and height 30 cm. The results of concrete compressive strength value with aggregate variation at 7 days, 14 days and 28 days obtained mean value from Gamalama aggregate, Ternate City of 42,496 MPa, 51,124 MPa, 58,614 MPa, and on Merapi aggregate, Yogyakarta City equal to 39,187 MPa, 49,731 MPa, 54,053 MPa. From the research conducted, it is proven that Merapi aggregate, Yogyakarta City possess higher compressive strength.
