ANALISIS DESAIN PORTABLE ELECTRIC HYDRAULIC JACK UNTUK PENINGKATAN PRODUKTIVITAS KERJA MEKANIK
Abstract
In services, mostly car repair shop uses a jack that can lift only one side of the car. Whereas, other jack can lift all sides of the car. For applying the jack, the system that can be used to lift all sides of the car is more productively. In this final paper, the reseacher tries to design for Portable Electric Hydraulic Jack (PEHJ) that can be increasing their productivities about how the mechanical work so efficiency.
This research methods is quantitative method because the data are collections of design and simulation. In this research, design is called PEHJ’s dimension, and simulation is a movement simulating of PEHJ through Software Inventor. When the design of this research was realized, it can be continued by testing the application between PEHJ and Hydraulic Jack to know how the mechanical work in productivity. This data can be obtained from the lenght of service time by the downstairs’ car with the same component variables.
Based on the analysis, the researcher found that PEHJ can be used in increasing their productivity mechanical work. The use of PEHJ for car can speed up the time with an average time saved which is 9.71 minutes for lower front, 6.67 minutes for lower back, and 26 minutes for lower center. Whereas for total servise by using PEHJ can be saved an average time of 42.38 minutes.
