PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN CDI KOIL DAN BUSI RACING TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK PERCIKAN BUNGA API DAN KINERJA MOTOR 4 LANGKAH 150 CC BERBAHAN BAKAR PERTAMAX
Abstract
Along with the development of science and technology in the automotive field which is increasingly developing through quality improvements, one of which is to improve the ignition system. To get maximum results, a perfect ignition is also needed by replacing the standard CDI with CDI racing, standard coil with racing coil, standard spark plugs with racing spark plugs with Pertamax fuel. The results of this study are expected to investigate the characteristics of sparks, the ratio of torque power and fuel consumption using ignition racing and ignition racing.
This study was conducted on a 4-step 150 cc motor using standard CDI and racing, standard coils and racing, standard spark plugs and racing to know sparks by using spark sparks, power and torque done by dynamometer testing and fuel consumption road test method. Dynamometer test is done at engine speed 4000 - 12000 rpm for power and torque testing. While for testing fuel consumption is done at speeds of +/- 50 km / h with a distance of 4 km.
From the best sparks on the BRT CDI, the standard coil of iridium spark plugs with a spark plug temperature of 8000-9000 K, the spark sparks are steadily focused on a single point. The highest power on CDI BRT, KTC coil, and standard spark plug is 16.9 HP at 9288 rpm engine speed, highest torque on standard CDI, standard coil, and racing spark at 14 N.m at 7677 rpm. The highest fuel consumption of road test on CDI BRT, KTC coil, and iridium spark plug with fuel consumption of 36.97 km / liter.
