dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman kepala Sekolah Dasar/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Bantul terhadap Manajemen Konflik Berbasis Sekolah; (2) mengetahui karakteristik konflik dan tindak kekerasan anak yang terjadi di Sekolah Dasar/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Bantul; (3) mengetahui tindakan antisipatif yang dilakukan sekolah dalam rangka mengeliminir tindak kekerasan anak. Jenis penelitian yang penulis gunakan di sini adalah penelitian survey menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk lebih menggali data yang dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kabupaten Bantul dengan mengambil subyek empat puluh lima (45) SD/MI Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Bantul pada penelitian awal, dan empat belas (14) SD Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Bantul, pada penelitan lanjutan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang penulis lakukan dalam penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan : (1) konflik yang sering muncul pada Sekolah Dasar/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Bantul adalah konflik yang dianut faham tradisional, di mana konflik dianggap sebagai sesuatu yang merusak, seperti rebutan mainan, berkelahi, saling mengolok dan lain-lain, meskipun konflik tersebut masih dalam batas wajar yang dilakukan oleh anak usia sekolah dasar. Adapun karakteristik kekerasan yang terjadi atau dilakukan oleh siswa terhadap siswa lainnya di Sekolah Dasar/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Bantul, sebagian besar berupa kekerasan verbal; Kepala Sekolah Dasar/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Bantul, secara garis besar sudah paham dengan konsepsi manajemen konflik berbasis sekolah; (2) Kepala Sekolah Dasar/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhamadiyah di Kabupaten Bantul sangat membutuhkan sosialisasi atau adanya workshop tentang manajemen konflik berbasis sekolah; (3) sebagian besar Kepala Sekolah Dasar/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Bantul sudah mempunyai cara tersendiri untuk melakukan pencegahan terjadinya tindak kekerasan, baik verbal maupun fisik di lingkungan sekolahnya Kata Kunci : Perilaku Kekerasan, Anak Sekolah Dasar, MKBSen_US
dc.description.abstractThis research aims to: (1) find out how far the understanding of the headmaster of Elementary Schools/ Madrasah IbtidaiyahMuhammadiyah in Bantul Regency toward School-based Conflict Management; (2) find out conflict characteristics and violence acts againstchildren found in Elementary Schools/ Madrasah IbtidaiyahMuhammadiyah in Bantul Regency; (3) find out anticipatory acts taken by the schools in order to eliminate violence acts against children. The research type chosen by the writer was survey research using quantitative approach combined with qualitative approach to find needed data deeper. This research took place in Bantul Regency having subjects of forty-five (45) Elementary Schools/ Madrasah IbtidaiyahMuhammadiyah in Bantul Regency in the preliminary research and fourteen (14) Elementary Schools/ Madrasah IbtidaiyahMuhammadiyah in Bantul Regency in the advanced research. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that: (1) Frequent conflicts occurred in Elementary Schools/ Madrasah IbtidaiyahMuhammadiyah in Bantul Regency are conflicts that are traditionally followed, where conflict is perceived as destructive, such as fighting over toys, fighting, mocking each other, etc even though those conflicts are the common ones done by elementary school students. As for the violence characteristic happened or done by the students against other students in Elementary Schools/ Madrasah IbtidaiyahMuhammadiyah in Bantul Regency is mostly verbal violence;The Headmasters of Elementary Schools/ Madrasah IbtidaiyahMuhammadiyah in Bantul Regency generally have understood about the conception of School-based Conflict Management; (2) The Headmasters of Elementary Schools/ Madrasah IbtidaiyahMuhammadiyah in Bantul Regency highly need socialization or workshops on School-based Conflict Management; (3) Most of the Headmasters of Elementary Schools/ Madrasah IbtidaiyahMuhammadiyah in Bantul Regency have already had their own methods to prevent violence both verbal and physical in their school environment.
