      Abstract
      Prototype Charging Station is a tool used to charge the electric vehicles, whether electric cars or electric motor cycles. Prototype Charging Station using Cashless Payment System to be more efficient in financial transactions. Moreover, the Prototype Charging Station using Internet of Things System in order to covers wide environment with one system only. This research produces a Charging Station Payment System which using NFC (Near Field Communication) based on Internet of Things. This prototype using NFC Tag as unique identity of its payment system. The unique identity of NFC Tag will be saved into the database with include the amount of the balance and the name of the owner identity. The data in this database is used for transaction on the Charging Station Payment System. Besides the hardware, the applications related to the Prototype Charging Station are also designed. This application called “Charging Station” (application used to run the Prototype Charging Station) and “Pengisian Saldo” Application (application used to fill user balances). From the result of research that has been done, prototype can run in accordance with the command entered through the application of Charging Station with percentage of error 0%. In addition, both applications successfully well-executed on the Prototype Charging Station and perform data processing on database. On the other hand, the Charging Station Application still needs to be improved in many ways, it is because Charging Station Application get an average rating below 4 of 5 scale from the user response, but the “Pengisian Saldo” Application get a positive response from public. “Pengisian Saldo” Application get an average rating of more than 4 of 5 scale.
