PERSEPSI KOMUNITAS BACKPACKER INDONESIA REGIONAL YOGYAKARTA PADA FILM “LAURA & MARSHA
Abstract
Laura & Marsha the movie is an Indonesian film released on 30 May 2013. Directed by Dinna Jasanti, starring by Prisia Nasution as Laura and Adinia Wirasti as Marsha. The movie told us about friendship, love, family, and a vacation journey to Europe along side with different cultural background, which the carried out our daily life.
The research method uses qualitative. While the source of the research is Indonesian Backpacker Community Yogyakarta Region. The sampling collection tech used in this research is accidental sampling research. The method of data collection is interview and documentation.
There is different perception result of the research from Indonesia Backpacker Yogyakarta region. The one that support Laura & Marsha is a interesting movie about a journey of two bestfriends during an europan journey. Meanwhile, the one that not support is about different cultural background, especially drinking alcohols and drug abuse in public places. The functional factor influences the perception of backpacker community of Yogyakarta in the movie, some of the factors are inner perception during the movie watch, could be motivated, add up with emotional surroundings, cultural backgrounds of the informant, as a traveling backpacker. In addition, structural factor is each perceptions from differ individuals, somewhat like perceptions about main characters, conflict, background, message, music, cultural background, and the conclusion as while about Laura & Marsha the movie, which imbued the perception of Yogyakarta Backpacker depends on the inner personal factors as well as consideration and motivation.
