HEMATOCRIT CENTRIFUGE BERBASIS MICROCONTROLLER
Abstract
Centrifuge is a tool used to separate samples, where the tool works based on motor rotation. Centrifuges are also many types depending on the speed and sample tested. The use of a centrifuge is needed here, especially the hematocrit centrifuge, because this tool can be used in testing or checking hematocrit. Hematocrit is the percentage of the volume of all red blood cells in the blood taken in a certain volume. This study aims to design a hematocrit centrifuge based on the ATmega8 microcontroller in order to obtain hematocrit values in the body with the choice of speed, speed viewer and timer to make it easier to use. From the research that has been done that is by comparing the motor rotation speed of the TA hematocrit centrifuge and tachometer module where the experiment was conducted 20 times with a percentage error of 0.2%. Overall, the system tools, namely speed and deviation of the data, have worked well and the error value is still in tolerance, which is below 10%. Thus the hematocrit centrifuge is capable of operating properly in real laboratory equipment.
