KAJIAN EKSPERIMENTAL BORE UP DAN STROKE DOWN
Abstract
Technology in this era of globalization is growing rapidly, one example of which is in the field of transportation, especially motorbikes. The need for motorbikes as a means of transportation which is most often used as a racing vehicle is influenced by several factors, such as: having high power and only requiring high acceleration. Innovations that are generally developed in the automotive sector are done by adding parts or changing original components to get results that exceed factory standards. One of them with bore-up and stroke-down.
This research was carried out using 110cc Motor 4 gasoline. Strength and torque are carried out using a testing dynamometer and consumption fuel using the road method. Tests are carried out at 4000-9000 rpm for strength and torque testing. While the fuel consumption test is carried out using premium at approximately 40 km / h speed.
The results showed that the highest torque to standard conditions is 11,01 N. m at a speed of playback machines 4574 rpm. Power to the highest power VEGA R 110 CC standard with power rating of 8,5 HP engine on lap 7211 rpm. Fuel consumption on a variation of the standard vega machine with a distance of 4 km and the average speed 40 km/h, the volume of fuel used average of 122,3 ml or can be convert into a 34,29 km/l. Highest torque for bore-up modification conditions 58 mm 48 mm with stroke was 12,03 N. m at a speed of playback machines 5126 rpm. The highest power to condition the power of generating modification vega 8,8 H.P. at 7528 engine rpm. Fuel consumption on vega bore-up motor 58 mm with stroke 48 mm fuel used at a distance of 4 km with an average speed of 40 km / hour which is 113.3 or can be converted to 35.34 km / l.
