EVALUASI TEBAL PERKERASAN LENTUR DENGAN METODE MANUAL DESAIN PERKERASAN 2013 DAN METODE ASPHALT INSTITUTE 1991 DENGAN PROGRAM KENPAVE
Abstract
The development of road infrastructure is crucial in the development of the national transport system so as to increase economic growth in a country. The road Tempel-Pakem located in Sleman, Yogyakarta is road traffic that has a heavy vehicle traffic flow is high, as it is an alternative road that connects the Provinces of Yogyakarta with Central Java Province. This research was conducted to plan and evaluate the ability of the roughness of the thick way while experiencing fatigue cracking and rutting due to the burden of traffic on a road of Tempel-Pakem.. In planning for thick roughness using Manual Desain Perkerasan 2013 Method and Asphalt Institute Method and evaluated using the program Kenpave.
Based on the results of the calculation of thick layers of roughness using Manual Desain Perkerasan 2013 Method obtained surface layers of 4 cm (AC-WC), coats the surface of 13.5 cm (AC-BC), the base layer of 15 cm (CTB) and and sub-base layer of 15 cm (LPA Grade A). For the Asphalt Institute 1991 method obtained a surface layer of 10 cm (Laston MS744), the base layer of 15 cm (Untreated Aggregate Base), and sub-base layer of 15 cm (Untreated Aggregate Base). Kenpave program evaluation results obtained on Manual Desain Perkerasan 2013 Method has value for fatigue cracking (Nf) of 1.523.689,174 ESAL and rutting (Nd) of 2.120.504,247 ESAL smaller than the value of the load plan (Nr) 13.374.491,14 ESAL, while at Asphalt Institute 1991 Method has value for fatigue cracking (Nf) of 42.569,280 ESAL smaller than the value of the load plan (Nr) and for rutting (Nd) of 246.823,076 ESAL smaller than the value of the load plan (Nr) 316.692,908 ESAL. It can be concluded that the results of thick roughness were analyzed using Manual Desain Perkerasan 2013 method and Asphalt Institute 1991 method able to withstand traffic loads during the life design of road rougness
