DINAMIKA MEDIA RELATIONS DINAS KOMUNIKASI, INFORMATIKA DAN PERSANDIAN KABUPATEN BARITO UTARA DENGAN BARITO POST DAN TVRI KALIMANTAN TENGAH
Abstract
This research is a study of the dynamics of media relations that occurred
at North Barito Public Relations with Barito Post and TVRI Kalteng in
disseminating information on policies and developments in the North Barito
government in 2017. In addition, this study also examines the objectivity and
credibility of media institutions in disseminating information to the public. This
research is a qualitative study with a Case Study approach. Where the source of
data comes from interviews and documentation. The interview was conducted with
three informants consisting of representatives from each agency both from the
North Barito Regency Communication, Information and Coding Agency,
journalists from Barito Post, and TVRI Central Kalimantan. The results of the study
show that in media relations activities, the North Barito Government Public
Relations runs media relations activities in the form of press interviews, press
gatherings, and press conferences, besides that there is a cooperation contract
between the media and the government in maintaining the spread of news. The
contract becomes the control of information disseminated by the media because all
news that is considered to have a negative content of the journalist must confirm
beforehand to the government Public Relations before disseminating the news.
