PENUTUPAN PROGAM ACARA SNAPSHOT DI STASIUN TELEVISI LOKAL SEMARANG TV
Abstract
Thesis with title Closing of the Snapshot program on the local TV station Semarang TV
aims to determine the causing of the closure of the Snapshot program and its closing process.
The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The data
collection technique used is by in-depth interviews and archives / documentation as secondary
data.
In this study the researchers used snowball sampling because the informant's retrieval
technique was like a snowball that rolled down from the top of the mountain to the valley,
increasing in size. Data analysis techniques consist of data presentation, data reduction, data
display and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data from this study is done by triangulation
because in this study the data obtained will be collected and know the truth.
The results and discussion of this study are: the elements that cause the closure of the
Snapshot program are 1) lack of human resources in program production 2) at least informants
and photo communities (performers) 3) program programs are too monotonous 4) no income;
the process of closing the program in Semarang TV by means of family consultations, with the
person in charge of the program and producer of the program in Semarang TV; and challenging
local television today must struggle to face competition in this digital era.
