| dc.description | Skripsi ini merupakan penelitian tentang relasi percintaan yang dikonstruksikan dalam drama populer Korea Guardian: The Lonely and Great God atau Goblin yang ditayangkan oleh media televisi TvN. Penelitian ini memilih beberapa episode dari 16 episode yang terdapat dalam drama Korea tersebut. Drama Korea yang ber-genre fantasy-romance ini menonjolkan kisah percintaan dua pasangan diantaranya Goblin dengan pengantin Goblin (Ji Eun Tak) dan Wang Yeo dengan Sunny. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis semiotika John Fiske. Dimana analisis tersebut menggunakan tiga level untuk mengetahui tanda dan makna. Tiga level tersebut terdiri dari level realitas, level representasi dan level ideologi. Relasi percintaan yang diteliti dalam drama Korea ini berdasarkan relasi gender yang dikonstruksikan oleh masyarakat Korea Selatan melalui budayanya. Dalam sejarahnya, relasi gender Korea Selatan masih mengkonstruksikan budaya Konfusianisme yang tak lepas dari konstruksi media populer. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Konstruksi soft masculinity terhadap Perempuan di Korea Selatan dan ekspresi romantisme yang mana keduanya dibentuk melalui budaya konfusianisme. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This theses is a study of romance relations constructed in the popular Korean drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God or Goblin which is broadcast on TvN television media. This study selected several episodes from 16 episodes in this Korean drama. Korean drama that has this fantasy-romance genre highlights the love story of two couples between Goblin with the Bride (Ji Eun Tak) and Wang Yeo with Sunny. The analysis used of this research is the Semiotic analysis of John Fiske. Where the analysis uses the three levels to know the meanings and signs. This three levels consisting the level of reality, level of representation, and ideological level. The romance relationship researched in this Korean drama based on gender relations constructed by the people of South Korea through its culture. In its history, South Korea’s gender relations still construct Confucian culture that can’t be separated from popular media constructions. The result of this study are the construction of the soft-masculinity of women in South Korea and romantic expression which are both formed through Confucian culture. | en_US |
