MANAJEMEN EVENT “FRISIAN FLAG GO LOCAL” TAHUN 2017
Abstract
The industry of dairy-based products is developing quite rapidly in Indonesia, one of them is Frisian flag which has held an event with an interesting concept. The purpose of this study was also to describe how the event management implemented by Frisian Flag Go Local in 2017. This research is located in the city of Yogyakarta, the source of this study was obtained from the results of interviews with informants and event data obtained by researchers during field observations.
In an event it is important to have a good management, in this case the researcher uses descriptive qualitative research methods and aims to find out the event management that is implemented by Frisian flag. The theory used in this study is the theory of planning, organizing, implementing, and enforcing.
The results of this study indicate that in its implementation there are several things related to event management, namely in planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling. As for events that are not yet suitable for event management, Frisian flag go local 2017 is planning in a less effective way to determine the time and place of the event, because when determining the event venue, the committee team only gets place information only from the Frisian flag sales area, and do not survey as many locations as possible to anticipate obstacles or problems during the event.
