The study entitled evaluation and suitability of green open space building trees in Yogyakarta Giwangan Terminal was carried out in October 2018. This study used a survey method that was technically carried out with primary data and secondary data collection. The data taken in this study were all tree species located in the study location by census (100%), interview data with a sample of 15 traders, 100 visitors, and 23 managers. Furthermore, the data is evaluated through literature and references as needed The results of the study show that overall the tree species in the area of Yogyakarta Giwangan Terminal are in good and healthy condition without any attacking pests so that it is still suitable to be maintained and the placement of tree species in the area of Yogyakarta's Giwangan is in accordance with the function area
