dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik, biaya, keuntungan dan kelayakan usahatani jamur tiram di dataran tinggi. Lokasi penelitian adalah Kabupaten Sleman dan Kabupaten Temanggung. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive) karena kedua kabupaten berada pada dataran tinggi. Pengambilan responden menggunakan metode snow ball dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 32 orang. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dan Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik usahatani jamur tiram di dataran tinggi adalah umur, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, lama usahatani, jenis pekerjaan, luas kumbung, teknologi input, teknologi proses dan teknologi output. Karakteristik penerapan teknologi input dan proses usahatani di Kabupaten Temanggung berbeda dengan karakteristik penerapan teknologi di Kabupaten Sleman sehingga menimbulkan perbedaan biaya dan keuntungan usahatani. Biaya usahatani jamur tiram di Kabupaten Sleman sebesar Rp 39.419.765 dan biaya usahatani jamur tiram di Kabupaten Temanggung sebesar Rp 38.798.409 per musim tanam. Keuntungan usahatani jamur tiram di Kabupaten Sleman Rp 42.632.853 dan keuntungan usahatani jamur tiram di Kabupaten Temanggung Rp 51.991.386. Nilai B/C usahatani jamur tiram di Kabupaten Sleman adalah 1,08 dan nilai B/C usahatani di Kabupaten Temanggung adalah 1,34.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze the characteristics, costs, benefits and feasibility of oyster mushroom in highland. The research locations were Sleman Regency and Temanggung Regency. The location determination was done purposively since the two districts are in the highlands. The method of taking respondents using snow ball method with the respondents as many as 32 people. The analysis used were descriptive and Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C). The results showed that the characteristics of oyster mushroom farming in the highlands were age, gender, education level, length of farming, type of work, area of building, input technology, process technology and output technology. The characteristics of the application of farming input and process technology in Temanggung Regency are different from the characteristics of the application of technology in Sleman Regency, causing rise to differences in the costs and benefits of farming. The cost of oyster mushroom farming in Sleman Regency was IDR 39,419,765 and the cost of oyster mushroom farming in Temanggung Regency was IDR 38,798,409 in a planting season. The profit of oyster mushroom farming in Sleman Regency was IDR 42,632,853 and the profit of oyster mushroom farming in Temanggung Regency was IDR 51,991,386. The value of B/C of oyster mushroom farming in Sleman Regency was 1.08 and the value of B/C farming in Temanggung Regency was 1.34.en_US
