ANALISIS USAHATANI JAMUR TIRAM DI DATARAN TINGGI
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the characteristics, costs, benefits and feasibility of oyster mushroom in highland. The research locations were Sleman Regency and Temanggung Regency. The location determination was done purposively since the two districts are in the highlands. The method of taking respondents using snow ball method with the respondents as many as 32 people. The analysis used were descriptive and Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C). The results showed that the characteristics of oyster mushroom farming in the highlands were age, gender, education level, length of farming, type of work, area of building, input technology, process technology and output technology. The characteristics of the application of farming input and process technology in Temanggung Regency are different from the characteristics of the application of technology in Sleman Regency, causing rise to differences in the costs and benefits of farming. The cost of oyster mushroom farming in Sleman Regency was IDR 39,419,765 and the cost of oyster mushroom farming in Temanggung Regency was IDR 38,798,409 in a planting season. The profit of oyster mushroom farming in Sleman Regency was IDR 42,632,853 and the profit of oyster mushroom farming in Temanggung Regency was IDR 51,991,386. The value of B/C of oyster mushroom farming in Sleman Regency was 1.08 and the value of B/C farming in Temanggung Regency was 1.34.
