      Abstract
      This research aims to know the influence of tthe azolla compost tea to change of commercial nutrient and to get the right kind of azolla compost tea concentration on growth and yield of lettuce plants with hydroponics system axis. This research was carried out at the green house, laboratory of soils and nutrition plant UMY, Faculty of agriculture in December 2015 – March 2016. The research was carried out of field experiments with methods single factor design arranged in a complete Random Design (RAL) consisting of 5 treatments. The treatments are: Nutrition AB mix (F1), compost tea pure (F2) azolla, azolla 1:1 compost tea (F3), compost tea azolla 1:2 (F4) and compost tea azolla 1:3 (F5) each treatment consists of 3 replicates so obtained 15 units of the experiment. Each unit consists of 3 plants and 3 plant samples so that there are 90 plants. The results of this study showed that azolla compost tea could be used to change commercial nutrition in growth and yield of lettuce plants with hydroponics system axis. The best concentration od the azolla compost tea for lettuce plants are 1:3.
