dc.description.abstract | Speaking is one important skill that should be mastered by students to communicate in English fluently and clearly. Role play is one of activities to encourage speaking skill. This study aims to explore teachers’ challenges on the implementation of role play in teaching speaking. To achieve the objectives interview was done to two lecturers who had been to teach speaking in a private university of Yogyakarta. Qualitative was used as research method and descriptive qualitative as the research design. The result was gathered through the interview. Regarding the implemented role play, this study found six results. They are group distributing; determining materials, preparing performance, time consuming, assessing students speaking performance, and monitoring to all the students | en_US |
