dc.description.abstractThis research aims to know the effect of Rural Food Sufficiency program on food security aspect. This research was conducted in Pagerharjo Village, Samigaluh, Kulon Progo. The data used in this research was secondary data, each data was collected from 2011 - 2015. Data used in this research were from : Agriculture and Forestry Office of Kulon Progo Regency, Population and Civil Registration Office of Kulon Progo Regency, Samigaluh II Public Health Center, Bappeda of Kulon Progo Regency and Government Pagerharjo Village. Data collection from related institution was done by data record technique. In the annual SKPG analysis, data were collected based on three aspects of food security, namely : food availability, access to food, and food utilization. The results of this study indicate that, from 2011 to 2015 there has been an increase in the availability of cereals food, the decline in the number of poor people, and the decline in the number of under-five children who experienced PEM (Poor Energy Protein) in Pagerharjo Village.en_US
