ANALISIS PENGARUH PEMASANGAN REFLEKTOR TERHADAP KINERJA SISTEM PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA SURYA PADA HOME INDUSTRI BATIK TUGIRAN PANDAK BANTUL
Abstract
The use of renewable energy sources has begun to be widely applied in Indonesia. One renewable energy source that has an abundant energy source is sunlight that can be converted into a source of electrical energy. The use of solar cell as a power plant has been commonly installed in Indonesia and the government has issued the regulation for this alternative energy source. Batik Tugiran is one of the batik home industries that utilize solar panels in helping the batik production process
This research is conducted to maximize the performance of solar power system in the Tugiran batik home industry. Reflectors will be added to the solar panel system to generate more power output dur to extra sunlight radiationreflected by the reflectors. The reflectors are instaleed with a tilt angle of 110° forwards the solar panels. Tests are performed on 3 conditions, solar panels without a reflector, with a glass reflector and with an aluminum reflector. Testing of each condition is carried out for 2 days starting at 08.00-16.00. The results of this study indicate that the use of glass reflectors increases the output power of solar panels by 13,8% compared to without reflectors, and the use of alumunium reflectors increases the output power of solar panels by 4,6 % compared to without reflectors
